Anyone who knew or remembers Dee Dee Lynn might get a kick out of this story. I was fresh out of beauty school circa 1978 - 1981. Dee Dee took me in as a stylist/apprentice. LORD did I learn a lot from that gal! Dee Dee had a lot of hats and art hanging on the walls at Mr. Georges Studio. A cocky young man waltzed in one Friday afternoon. He stated that so and so referred him to Dee Dee and he insisted she cut his hair. Dee Dee squeezed him in to her busy schedule. As she was cutting his hair, a patron was asking her about one of the pieces of art hanging on the wall. Dee Dee was answering the question when the young man interrupted Ahem! Do you mind not talking while you are cutting my hair? Dee Dee was a bit startled, but complied with his request. She continued to cut his hair in silence. (You know she was biting her tongue!) A few minutes later he was looking at a bottle of styling gel on her station, and asked her What does that mean, for professional use only? She didnt answer right away, but when she did she said Im sorry. I cant talk while I am cutting your hair. The cocky young man replied WELL! There goes your tip! Dee Dee had had enough. She unhooked the cape around his neck and announced WELL! There goes your haircut! He jumped up out of the chair (with half a haircut) and said WHAT? How dare you! I want to talk to Mr. George, RIGHT NOW!!! She laughed, looked him right in the eye and said Youre looking at him right now, now GET OUT!!! Hahaha, I was dying. He was so mad steam was fuming out of his red ears. He went out and got in his car which was parked right out the front window and laid a patch of rubber a mile long...
