Anyone who knows me knows I am NOT a car buff. I think they are useless LOL my mercury marquis.....well I hauled hay and feed in the trunk but then that is all I had. it was also rated mpg as 16 city and 24 on highway which is why Obama got Mercury to discontinue the building of them and concentrate on the Lincoln instead. My dad and I regularly got 300,000 miles on them......last one dad had he drowned it in a creek and the speedometer quit working at 299,000 miles.....we drove it another 2 years. Well if you dont put your foot in it, I regularly got 20-22 in town and 26 on the highway. Yesterday im toddling along in the Beamer, not paying attention, just driving and I look down.......100 MPH....WHAT??????? I look again.......100 mph. It LOOKED slow going down the road. It looked like a crawl when i slowed it back to 60 lol The ride is so effortless in this car and so smooth...you have to roll down the dang window to hear that the engine is on. The front seats are racing seats, go figure and they grab and hold every part of you including a side wrap device on the head rest to protect your neck. I now set the cruise LOL We are shopping for a good truck for me........much better fit LOL
