Anyone who knows me knows Ive never been a really religious person. I have my beliefs and I was always satisfied with them. Certain things that happened to me in my life had made me give up on any Divine intervention, and lose faith in faith itself. But today, I was proven wrong in the most righteous of ways. Two of my dearest friends, Rich Smith and his wife, Jess Jakacki Smith were seriously injured in a motorcycle accident late last night. As I sat in the hospital, awaiting the worst possible news, the entire room was overcome by a true miracle. So many friends and family gathered together, praying for God, or whoever else they believe in, to send down a healing hand and touch these two beautiful people, and keep them with us. That prayer, that wish, that hope was soon responded to by a resounding YES, and a miracle saved the lives of my two friends. They both have a lot of recovering to do, but they are on the right path, and they will prevail. Now, through all this, I have come to realize that there is a higher power, and He does watch over us all and listen to our needs. He did that today, and for that, there are many hearts who will be forever thankful! I have so much thinking to do....
