Anyone who knows me will appreciate that Im a big Neil Young fan. We go back a long long way, 1971 to be exact and he probably means more to me than any other artist. Uncle Neil has boycotted Starbucks because they are in bed with Monsanto, fair enough, they are a dodgy mob at the best of times and he has a valid point. However, I only wish that these stars with clout and a nodding relationship with reality would stop flogging their wares on Amazon. Amazon have an appalling record in management/recruitment/employee relations and their tax avoidance fandango is well documented. Ive never been in a Starbucks, never bought a Murdoch publication (since Grunwick) and certainly never shopped at Amazon and highly unlikely to. Amazon have unlimited supplies of Neils new album - Ill give it a miss.
