Anyone who listened to the senate inquiry today who voted either Green or Labor should be feeling entirely embarrassed. SHY asking detailed questions like how far into Australian territory do you have to get to not be turned around was obviously working for people smugglers. I dont know the answer to that and I dont want to know. Its an operational matter and the Police dont need to enlighten me about their operations before they commence them either. Seriously, how stupid are these people? Scott Morrison and the military and customs made mincemeat out of the Labor and Green senators. SHY even referred to the TV show Border Security. It was a farce and shows Labor and the Greens have not given up wasting taxpayers money even now. Labor degenerates even claimed today the policies werent working because we had not bought any boats. Lets be clear. Buying boats was mentioned as a potential tactic in a broad range of tactics to stop people smugglers. Buying boats was not as Labor claimed today an election promise. Stopping the boats was an election commitment or at least doing everything possible to stop them. Australia doesnt need Indonesian boats and as we have not had a boat for 6 weeks now, we may not need to employ that tactic. Only Labor and Green people spend money when it is not necessary. Liberals dont do that. Todays inquiry was frightening given these Senators were key players in the last Governmnet. Dont have to be Einstein to know why they left such a mess behind. Anyway, Tony Abbott doesnt drown children like Labor and the Greens did. 50,000 illegal arrivals, hundreds of million s spent and thousands drowned and Labor and the Greens thinking they have the right to interrogate anybody over anything is outrageous. You can only imagine what was running through the minds of our Generals today as they sat there stunned at the stupidity of the questions.
