Anyone who thinks my last post was an indication of being soft on - TopicsExpress

Anyone who thinks my last post was an indication of being soft on ISIS, is completely oblivious to my point. ISIS needs to be stopped, and their existence in Iraq and Syria must be obliterated (because it will spread). However lets look at the facts. We are now launching a bombing campaign on ISIS in Iraq and Syria. I ask, what do you think this will achieve? The group that is ISIS was founded in 2004, by Abu Musab Al Zarqawi. At the time it was Islamic State in Iraq, or ISI, created following the illegal US military invasion of Iraq. Correct me if im wrong, but between 2003-2010, I dont believe there was any shortage in a bombing campaign by the USA against these groups. And what did it achieve? We all know the answer to that question. Beginning in 2011, THIS PAGE warned that we were arming extremists (some of which were westerners, including Canadians), in Syria and Libya to fight for regime change. We on this page have first hand knowledge on this conflict, we dont issue claims without beforehand knowledge. We sounded the alarm, that these people were NOT MODERATE, but were beheading innocents, based on issues of ethnicity and religion. We warned that these people were linked to Al Qaeda, and that it would backfire on our own cities. This has now happened. The fact is, ISIS is an ideology. We in the West cannot bomb an ideology which revolves around hating us. BECAUSE IT MAKES MORE PEOPLE HATE US. Thus their ideology grows! The Muslims are the ones who have to live with ISIS everyday, they are the biggest victims. They need to clear them out themselves, because OUR MILITARY PRESENCE, will make ISIS stronger. We need to support the Syrian military, we need to support the Iraqi military, we need to support IRAN, who is 100% dedicated to the fight against ISIS. We need to support the Christians and Shia Muslims of Lebanon, to act as a bulwark against ISIS advance. LET THEM root out ISIS. We need to STOP arming extremists in Syria and Iraq, we need to STOP our policies of regime change in these countries. ISIS would not exist today if the American military did not remove Saddam Hussein in 2003, thats a hard cold fact.
