Anyone who was looking to volunteer... We have an opportunity next weekend and the following weekend. We are trying to make sure we have enough shelter space for everyone. We opened the back barn and split it. The horses from the big pasture have access to 2/3 of the barn. The problem, the ceiling in that portion needs ripped out and burned. We also need pallets to start building two more shelters. We are looking for a few people to help take down the ceiling and remove all debris. The following weekend we need help with constructing 1 or 2 new shelters. If you have time and are willing to get dirty, we could use the help. We are also looking for some help with pasture cleanup. Moving logs, we need people with chainsaws and picking up random bricks that seem to have worked their way up. If you want to come out and help, we will supply the hot chocolate and cookies and of course, lots of horse love. Please email us at smilingk9s@live so we can get a head count on who will be here.
