Anything that keeps you from growing is never worth right fighting to defend. Having an attitude of growth and learning means that we first make the choice to be OPEN to the learning. When an individual in your life has an offering, and you hear criticism or judgment, your defenses come up and you prepare for the fight. It is no longer a learning environment; it now becomes a battlefield where you will go toe-to-toe to defend your position. Until you recognize how limiting this reaction is, you will never realize your next level of growth. If you stay in reaction and hold fast to your position, you are making the choice to remain firmly planted on the sidelines. ~Not Over
