Anyway, my thoughts are that peaceful protests were one of the things which the founders suspected might need protecting. Governments, like all things composed of humans, tend to get off track and need to be adjusted and reined in from time to time. Peaceful protests are one of the proper venues to prod government onto the right track; while rioting, looting, and mayhem are not effective, efficient. protected, or even civilized. Property rights go hand in hand with civil rights and one cannot have much of one without much of the other. For more thoughts about this and peaceful protest see the words of: Jesus, Thoreau, Tolstoy, Gandhi, Dr. MLK Jr., JFK, RFK......just to name a few. :-) kb btw-Gandhi used peaceful resistance also known as civil disobedience to secure the independence of all of India which today is the worlds largest democracy, popularly speaking, with over 1 billion people. The United States has about 30 percent of that many people. But I ramble. Peaceful is the right path, I firmly believe. Two wrongs dont make a right. My father told me so. :-) :-) :-)
