Apana Vayu Mudra // Mudra of the heart♥ and Mudra of Air ...This mudra will help balance air inside the body, thus helping relieve excess gas or joint pain. Helps pacify an anxious and restless mind. Relaxes tense or spastic muscles. This mudra is helpful for grounding. (connecting to the Earth physically, emotionally, and spiritually) Can help soothe a strained voice. Helps with sciatica, restlessness, sleeplessness, impatience, and vertigo/dizziness. Benefits cures impurities of the blood circulation, benefits neck and spine. Consistent practice eliminates all wind related ailments like arthritis, joint pain, gout, vertigo, sciatica, knee pain and ceases gas formation. Press the tip of each index finger onto the mound of your thumb. Fold your thumb so that it presses down lightly on the bent index finger. The other fingers should be held straight. Perform this Mudra for as long as the problem that you are trying to alleviate persists. It can also be practiced for 15 minutes every day to prevent problems relating to the imbalance of the air element inside the body from cropping up. This mudra is also known as the lifesaver as it strengthens the heart and regularizes palpitation. Helps remove useless things from our body, this could be: thoughts, toxins, or patterns of behavior.
