Apart from my family and close friends, two people influenced my youth. One was Mr Cairns, the preacher from Walkden Congregational church, he ran the Boys Society youth club, kept me sane. The other, ever since I bought Schools Out, is Alice Cooper. I believed in them! Now I believe. Many a good time had playing 5-a-side, badminton, table tennis, open the door and nick the opposition player without the ref noticing not forgetting the toast.
