Apart from one minor continuity error (more on this later) this was a good spy thiller. It rolls along at a fairly steady, if not fast, pace. I enjoyed the chemistry between Jack and his girlfriend/fiancee (played wonderfully by Keira Knightly), Kevin Costner was great as the man who drags Jack into the intigue, but my highest praise goes to Kenneth Branagh as the man behind the plot. Now, to the error I mentioned previously. There have been four Jack Ryan movies prior to this one and yet at the beginning of this one, hes just Joe-citizen whose drawn into the fun. If this one is supposed to be a prequel, then it is the third one Chris Pine has been in. Also of note is the fact that only one actor has played Jack Ryan more than once, Harrison Ford. Bottom line - this is one to see!
