Apologies for a possible dumb question. Very very new to collecting and reading. Have about 200 comics but aside from injustices, theyre all from the dollar bin. Ive decided on my first real purchase, its not super expensive but its one Im really excited for and want to make sure I do it right. I want to get it graded etc I want the original star wars #1. First print from I believe 1977. Ive been trying to search eBay, but theres multiple prints, and hard to get the search results to narrow to just that. I want to keep an eye out and watch prices for a good quality and a reasonable price. My question is, should I be keeping an eye out anywhere other than ebay and fb groups for one for sale? And how can I be sure Im getting a first print? Do later prints have different covers? Also, I know I want best condition possible if I plan to get it graded, but is there anything else I should know? Thanks in advance. Hopefully I can do all of my learning for future buys on this purchase lol
