Apologies for not being active on Facebook for an extended period of time, the holidays are busy for everyone. Anyway, things are in full swing over at the shop. This week we will be banging out a cage on a well known VT hillclimbers car. The original cage was one of our our first few completed back in 2007. Since then we have tweaked our design and install progress, so per our customers request we have decided to update it. The old cage was cut out over the holidays and we are just getting moving on the installation. As chance would have it, we have another GC in the shop at the same time for the very same cage. We will be bending up all the components for both cars at the same time and staggering the installs. Here are some photos of the cage removal, bent tubing, and the begging of the install process. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on this car as well as another GC in the near future. We also have enough roll cage material on hand for a third car, so if anyone wants to get in on a roll cage build, now is absolutely the time!
