Apologies for not having any pictures the last couple of days. I have been trying to spend time in the vicinity of the new cats, it has been working out well. Gamma is spending less time in my old bar and more time with his head peaking out. He even made an unheard of appearance yesterday while I had a friend over. I also had an event happen that I have dreaded for years and have hoped to avoid. One of my kitties (Diesel) was startled this morning and her first reaction was to jump for high ground. Unfortunately the spot she landed was my Regency wood stove going just about full throttle.... I am not even sure all four paws touched it she was off of it so fast. I was able to get her to sit with me shortly after and I got a good look at her paws/pads. While I can smell the obvious burnt fur I can see zero exterior damage to the bottom of her feet, she was even letting me rub her toes...yeah she is spoiled! I called the vet and was told what to watch for and can bring her in in just in case I need to.
