Apologies for radio silence for the last couple of weeks, lets get you all up to date with the various goings-on that have been going on! A massive well done to Ellie & Lord James, & Nicky & Narnia, for their performances in the Bicton Summer Dressage League this season. Ellie & Lord James only went & brought home the sash & trophy as League Champions, with Nicky & Narnia narrowly missing the spot as Reserve Champions!! Amazing stuff ladies, & whod have thought the lovely James would turn into such a dressage diva superstar!! Now thats over you can go jump hedges Ellie!! Next up, pin your ears back Team Ben fans! In Amys words, Team Ben kicked ass at Chittlehampton last weekend in their last outdoor event of the season, winning the Novice Horse class with enough left in the tank for Ben to go round the drive a second time!! Fantastic news guys, well done Stewart, Amy & Ben!! Of course this does mean theyre up a class for the next outdoor season now, but were sure theyre up to the task :-) Can you spot the team mascot, keeping an eye on the competition in the piccie?! Amy & Creation headed off for their first ever BD Affitilated competition today....& they nailed it!!! Despite some white boards that were apparently the scariest Creation had ever seen (!!), they secured a 1st & a 2nd in their tests & as you can see from the pic, brought home some rather impressive ribbons (Amy you may want to not leave them at the yard.....lol!). Great performance Amy & Creation :-) Thereve been great performances from a number of UPECions taking part in the monthly e-Dressage competitions as well, with ribbons & gorgeous sparkly browbands being bagged - well jell of those!! And today saw a large UPEC attendance at a couple of Fun Rides - what gorgeous weather for exploring the beautiful countryside on your wonderful horses, hope you all had a superb & fun time!! If youre not mentioned above its probably just because Ive forgotten or dont know about your personal achievements with your amazing equine partner, but it doesnt make them any the less significant or amazing - well done everyone :-D
