Apologies to the children of the village - we had hoped to build the new park and bike track over the summer but there has been a delay. It’s happened because of problems sourcing the logs needed for the large climbing frame and swing. Our contractors have been working hard to solve the problem, but unfortunately they werent able to get the logs delivered in time to start work in August as planned. This new playground is a unique design, created just for us, and they haven’t been able to get the logs from anywhere else. We are now working towards a start date on site of the 1st October, and we hope that this will now go ahead without any further delay. We’re really sorry about this hold-up and we’re doing everything we can to get the park built as soon as possible.
