Apology 101: Identify the offense you are apologizing for. Acknowledge how that offense may have harmed the person/people you are apologizing to. Commit to at least making an effort to not repeat the offense. Say I am Sorry and mean it. Listen to what Calendra says. First, I am sorry - but then, the majority of the time he takes to apologize is taken up by this - Im fairly certain that there will be other opportunities in this house where I will be answering questions that you dont appreciate. I dont think this will be the last time that Ill get up and answer a question that doesnt effectively respond Mr. Speaker. So, essentially... Im sorry I hit you, it was really wrong of me to do so. Im fairly certain that there will be other times that my hands will make contact with your face and you wont appreciate it. I dont think this will be the last time that I smack her in the mouth Officer, and Im really sorry about that. Sorry, as an apology, this is what the cool kids call an epic fail.
