Apostolic Alignment is not just about fellowship, social interaction and even spiritual networking. We are called into the fellowship of our Lord Jesus Christ and our fellowship is with the Father and the Son! (I. Co. 1:9; I. John 1:3) Apostolic alignment is more about stewardship, the knowing of our place in the body of Christ and walking it out with a view to giving of ourselves to encourage, impart, and empower! We are finding the setting in place in the body and functioning out of life and relationship stimulates His righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17) I. Peter 1:13- Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. I. Peter 2:5- you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. I. Peter 3:15- but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account of the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; I. Peter 4:10- As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. I. Peter 5:6- Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in the proper time,... ( All scriptures from the NASB)
