[[ Apparently English Puritanism has notions of Calvinism. Some of the leaders of the Massachusetts Bay Colony were Calvinists that came with the Puritan fleet (the Winthrop fleet) So heres the joke my co-admin and I came up with: When Mary Tudor came to power in England, Henry left since she was set on making the country Catholic. He went to France and through his wanderings encountered Calvin. Something happened and they both had English Puritanism. It makes sense mainly because Puritanism popped up when Elizabeth first took the throne, which is when Henry went back to England since Mary was dead. So Calvin×Henry may be somewhat historically canon (and since they are my OCs I can make it canon if I find more evidence lol). ]] Calvin scoffed. I, sleep with that guy? As if! He wouldnt survive a day in Geneva, considering the wild Englishman he is! Henry shot him a glare. As if I would ever let you dominate me, you extremist! Go to Scotland for all I care! [[ Calvinism was strict while Anglicanism (due to Englands laid back attitude compared to the rest of Europe) was somewhat relaxed but was still religious. ]] ~F.T~
