Apparently Facebook is cracking down on the high amount of business conducting being done from personal pages. They are freezing accounts and even completely wiping out certain group pages. Beachbody coaching (if youre running your business right), is more of a service business than just a sales business, but its something our team has been discussing, should any of this account freezing/Facebook blocking happen to us. One of the things suggested was to minimize the amount of groups were in and/or running. I was a little bummed about this, because I run at least 1 or 2 free health or fitness class pages a month. Im hoping Facebook will notice this and give me a break when/if they investigate my account. In the process of deleting some of my old class pages, I also decided to reduce the amount of groups I am a part of.... This has left me extremely frustrated. As I was going down the line I noticed that without my consent I had been added to AT LEAST 3-5 different parties of EACH the 3D Lash Mascara, Scentsy, Jamberry, and a couple MaryKay/random other sales pages, some from people that I honestly dont even know. I am not about to tell anyone how they should or shouldnt run their business, but keep it classy people. No one likes to be added to a group just to buy something, especially when you didnt ask them. Im all for people earning an extra income in order to provide a better life for themselves and their family, but I believe the random adding into these SALES pages is the reason why Facebook is cracking down on its policies and freezing accounts. If you want to host a party, do an event invite first, then add the people that ASK to be a part of your party. This is just my early morning, groggy feeling, two cents. I know starting a new business can be scary, and it takes a while to work out the kinks, but I have got to say the random adding really erks me. There are much better ways to reach people.
