Apparently I cannot disagree with political opinions expressed by a person wielding this instrument at my throat. Jokes support he has as fascinating life and love story. The son of wealthy doctor he started to see a girl from a poor family when he was twenty. In his village that became a scandal that threatened to ruin the reputation if the girl. So he married her at the temple, earning the wrath of his family and was ostracized from his family. He became a barber and worked in Singapore and Malaysia before returning to India decades ago. Along the way he raised three kids and adopted two more. One was a child who was orphaned (a classmate of his girl) the other was his wifes niece who had Downs Syndrome. He is proud that he raised his three kids and they are married. He says he does have arguments with his wife but could never dream of hurting her. As for his family, they reconciled after 23 years, at his daughters wedding. One marriage resulted in estrangement, another resulted in reconcilement. Everyone has a fascinating story. Ask.
