Apparently I make some really good mashed potatoes. So here is the recipe: 1) 4-5 potatoes (feeds 3-4), 6-9 potatoes (feeds 5+) 2)Butter 3)Milk 4)Salt 5)1-2 Sticks of Celery (optional) Clean, peel, and cut the potatoes ( medium size to boil better). Boil the potatoes at a medium heat and let sit till potatoes are soft enough to pass a fork through. Next dump the excess water into sink ( word of caution potatoes might fall in sink be careful). Now place potatoes in to serving pot and add 1/2 cup of butter and 1 cup of milk and about 1/2 teaspoon of salt (make sure to mix the potatoes while adding the ingredients). Finally serve and enjoy as a side to any major dish, like Sautee Rib Eye Steak, Broiled or Grilled Chicken, or a nice Halibut.
