Apparently Man Up is something these overly feminized guys in my generation group dont really want to hear. And this may be the beer talking but, I feel... Dudes dont understand that as a male, there is a natural/societal role and obligation for you to be strong. That as a MAN, your response to loss/tragedy/stress/anger be a reflection of your inner strength and resilience. NOW this doesnt ever mean you dont have moments of weakness or moments where you cant help but bear the pain and suffering of your soul to the universe and cry your ever loving eyes out. Never that. It does mean however, that you dont and wont let whatever it is break you. MEN dont play the victim card(its a lot easier to say WHY me, rather than HOW do I grow and learn from this) or give up easily. It, for damn sure, doesnt give any excuse or right for you not to live up to your duties as a man, father, boyfriend, employee, WHATEVER. All it does is give you, as a man, the depth of knowledge of self, of having to remain strong in the face of whatever it is threatening to tear your world apart. Which is invaluable. FIGHT! FIGHT I SAY! Fight the feelings of helplessness. Fight the doubt, Fight the fear, anger, and hatred. Fight so hard that every threat to your strength has no ammo and therefore can never beat or best you... For a mans true strength doesnt lie in his muscles or abilities, but is drawn straight from his heart.
