Apparently a friend of my child that has come to my house very often is telling another parent that its not very good to let their child come to my home because my kids have no supervision and can do whatever they want. Such as; - Walk to the gas station at midnight. - let Andrew drive them around. - and numerous other things that are insanely blown out of proportion. So I have NEVER my kids walk to the gas station after midnight. Let alone after dark. Even if it is only right down the road... Just because I let Andrew drive McKenna and this friend to her house (3 blocks away) because it was raining.... DOES NOT mean that I allow him to drive with a bunch of people in his car. He has gotten in trouble and PUNISHED for having more than 1 person in his vehicle. I do NOT allow it. However, he hasnt been in trouble for this in a long time, because he actually is a decent kid :) with a good job, and responsible demeanor believe it or not. Anyhow.... Im putting this out there incase anyone else has been told how I dont care what my kids do. I let my kids have friends at the house ALL the time, because that way I know where my kids are, who they are with and what they are doing. NOT because its a free for all over here. So moving forward.... I guess I will need to be a little more selective of who I allow at my house, starting with kids that try to manipulate friendships by spreading nonsense like this. Spreading these rumors isnt going to keep my kids from being friends with your other friends, eventually it will just teach you a lesson about how not to treat your friends. In the end this will only make you lose friends. I hope you learn your lesson Hun. Sorry that this mom who doesnt care about anything, is putting her foot down now.
