Apparently, in Isle of Wight County, someones pit bull can come into your yard, kill and eat your chickens...mangle and brutally kill your cat...and there is nothing animal control will do about it. Even though they have had many complaints about this animal in the past and there is concern for my childrens safety (after seeing what it did to the cat, it is capable of anything)...I was told if they came back tomorrow, not to call Animal Control unless I was able to catch the dog and hold it there until they could come.
