Apparently last night on the Discovery Channel, there was an epic special program where some fool, er, scientist, was going to go up deep into the Amazon, put on a specially-designed suit and helmet, get doused with pigs blood, and then allow himself to get eaten by an 18-foot anaconda snake. The plan was to be totally consumed for ratings, er, science. News reports this morning said he allowed the snake to consume his head before he feared that his arm was going to be broken, and was thereupon rescued. Me and the missus missed it, for obvious reasons. With so many high quality programs on television nowadays, its easy for some special ones to slip through the cracks.
