Apparently our City Attorney needs a refresher in Professional - TopicsExpress

Apparently our City Attorney needs a refresher in Professional Conduct. She and the Mayor and City Commissioners are "investigating" the "alleged leak" of a document and have the audacity to ask me, though an investigator, if I will disclose the name of the person who gave me the document. First, think Mrs. Salinas has forgotten that attorneys are bound by an oath of confidentiality. Second, she and the City Commissioners and the Mayor are trying to cloud the real issue - the fact that the Mayor & the Commissioners are VIOLATING the City Ordinance by giving all of the wrecker work to one particular person and leaving the rest of the wrecker companies out when the ordinance REQUIRES that every single one be on a rotation schedule. Take a guess why they do this! They are trying to charge a person with a crime when no crime has been committed. Mrs. Jaqueline Salinas may also need a refresher on the Public Information Act. None of the exceptions apply in this case, the document provided to me and which proves the violation of the City Ordinance is public information and contains absolutely no confidential information. They are trying to charge someone with a crime when they are the only ones violating laws. Many have been deprived of the right to earn a living, only because the Mayor chose one wrecker company to do the majority of the work for the City, in violation of the law. I suggest that Mrs. Salinas looks a bit closer to home to uncover the true violators of the law.
