Apparently some Property Managers think that things only go wrong during business hours Mon-Fri. One of my tenants in Whitfield rang me frantically on Saturday evening for advice for her neighbour whos unit is managed by another Property Management Company. She had water pouring down through her ceiling and her Property Manager could not be contacted by phone. Unfortunately for the tenant there were no other emergency contact numbers or tradesmen listed on their tenancy agreement, so we arranged one to go in and make the property safe for her. At Zoom Real Estate, we are contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (and 366 every fourth year). Landlords, please consider what arrangements are in place for when things go wrong with your investment outside of business hours. If you expect more from your Property Management company, talk to us about how easy it is to switch.
