Apparently the GOP leaders expect the President to respond when spoken to and act when directed. What part of the Presidents multiple prior statements regarding the Constitutional authority of the President to take necessary Execution action(s) through Executive Orders did the GOP not hear? Since these same GOP leaders met on the evening of President Obamas first Inauguration and decided that they would purposefully derail and impede all of the Presidents agenda during his Presidency, there is no reason to expect anything different. As an American, I wish that the Congress had the heart and mind necessary to recognize the importance of governance for the common good. If the Congress wants to initiate immigration reform, why not send the Senates bipartisan bill to the House floor and take a vote, and name representatives from both chambers to a Conference Committee to hammer out the best bill which both chambers can pass to send to the President for signature?
