Apparently wearing a t-shirt in Queensland is breaking the law according to commissioner Stewart. In an exchange on Twitter Ipswich Councillor Paul Tully urged Police Commissioner Ian Stewart to rein in officers. Cr Tully asked for no arrests to be made during the election campaign unless there was a breach of peace. But Commissioner Stewart did not agree. We take appropriate action if individuals break the law, he wrote on Twitter. Court decides the lawfulness and consequences. Our focus - keep u safe. In other words. Do what your told and dont rock the boat.
