Apparently, you catch more flies with maple syrup than with ashes. We had a great turnout for our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, with kudos to all the people who made it possible--old friends and new enjoyed blueberry and plain pancakes, apple sauce, sausage links and juice/coffee. Mmmmmmmm. An intimate group celebrated Ash Wednesday and began their Lenten journey with intention, visibly bearing the mark of their faith in Christ. Food for the journey in a different sense. It is all good. See you at church this Sunday.
