Appeal To Naga Politicians By Imli Longkumer, Senior Citizen Today our Naga politicians have lost their political principles toward the common platform in all sectors. How long Naga society will suffer? The general publics have chosen the leaders to lead the common people in the state. If the leaders cannot perform the need of the common front asset, who will be responsible? The selected representatives are the most important and policy making bodies, you are chosen by the people mandate to lead the state, functionary in all sector. Today the Naga politicians are confused to lead the people in the state e.g. Developmental social activities and reconciliation among the communities etc because the appointed leaders should be truth and clean and God fear leaders. I urge all the leaders who had chosen to lead Naga society change your mindset and revise your past life and change in new life to lead our society, especially the politicians are the backbones of the state. All the political leaders should come to mutual understanding and work together for the innocent public for better achievement. A leader should not be power monger; such leaders are no longer in the society. This is a changing world in the society/political level consecutively the state, we suffered for 2 years without central fund allocation because the political leaders are not co-cohesive unity and the mismanagement of fund; which had given for state development works. The present fund allocation for salary alone cannot survive the general public needs; until and unless the leader’s mindset has changed in the political system, the state had never developed. Once again I appeal to the elected representative MLAS to work together as one political principle for motherland, for peace progress. The present ruling NPF DAN III give free hand to work freedom for the state development, to strengthen the present NPF DAN III government under the T.R. Zeliang leadership, minor reshuffle is needed. The NPF and BJP party alliance since 2013, during the time of Rio BJP MLA had given minister birth therefore, strengthen of the government and support continue from the BJP alliance lone BJP NLA who was elected last election Powang as parliamentary sectary transport and communication maybe given cabinet birth to initiate the party setup in the state level and to continue support of the government. Recently 3 NCP MLA who joined BJP NLA speaker was disqualified from the ministership as per the speaker judiciary power since the Guwahati High Court has passed order to qualified a member in the legislative assembly. The ruling government may accept the judgment order to continue alliance partner in the state assembly to bring more cohesive and powerful party government. The speaker should accept the court order and allow to accept the Guwahati High Court order to allow them to participate in the legislative assembly process in the future to come. This appeal is represented by Imli senior citizen of Nagaland in all respect.
