Appeal from Cleveland Police Attempt theft of elderly lady’s bag, Aldi, Redcar Police are appealing for information after a man tried to steal an elderly woman’s handbag after approaching her in the car park of Aldi Larkswood in Redcar. The suspect is described as having dark hair and wearing a light coloured top. He ran off into the Langley Close area. Officers know that the car park was very busy at the time (around midday on Tuesday 3rd June) and they appeal for anyone who saw the incident to come forward.
