I spend endless hours trying to get people to understand what the countries problems are. As I have said before, the apathy club is alive and well and I find myself speaking to blank expressions most of the time. In general, people dont have clue what a bondholder is or who the ECB are, they have no conception of what the government is up to and what is wrong with the system, most say You are wasting your time, things will never change in Ireland I usually answer Tell that to the heroes of 1916 & 1922, again more blank looks. Though it breaks my heart and even that I am so up for change and I am really trying my best to spread the word , I honestly think people dont give a fek and are historically and especially outside the main cities, very used to being downtrodden. It will hit them like a stone should the definite massive water bills come through the door in the not too distant future. WE NEED TO SPREAD THE WORD TO THE PEOPLE ON THE STREET, not many of the older people especially in the country use computers.
