Apple Blossom Show w/ Joel Plaskett and David Myles – a roaring success The Apple Blossom concert Deep Roots put on May 31st was another successful show performed in front of a sold out house! Both musicians are outstanding performers and such personable folks, too – the audience really enjoyed the performances. NS rapper Classified showed up as a surprise special guest and did 3 tunes with David Myles, including (to the audience’s delight) Inner Ninja. (Imagine the marvelous acoustics of Convocation Hall, and 1200 people enthusiastically singing “My inner ninja”!) Joel invited his Dad Bill Plaskett to play with him – it is always a treat to see these two making music together. For the folkies in the room, Bill did Hard Times Come Again No More. Thanks to all the people who supported Deep Roots by attending this show, and our condolences to those who did not get a ticket – you missed a great show!
