Apple is ready to launch their celebrated new tablets in the Indian market and you don’t have to wait long, because they will most probably start shipping by the end of November. With just ten days to go, the pre-orders for the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 is expected to start in the next three to four days time. While Android has been steadily catching up and Google has launched a premium quality Nexus 9 recently, it is Apple’s iPad offering that has always been at the forefront when it comes to quality applications and games. Besides, owning an Apple product is still considered to be stylish and a status symbol in India that has been luring customer despite its heavy price tag. The pricing for the iPad Air 2 is no less as it will go for sale for Rs. 35,900 for the 16 GB Wifi model, Rs. 42,900 for the 64 GB model and Rs. 49,900 for the 128 GB model. The Wifi plus 3G variant of the tablet will be higher as it will start at Rs. 45,900 for the 16 GB model while the 128 GB version could go as high as Rs. 59,900. On the specifications front, the iPad Air 2 has a 9.7 inch screen with a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and is powered by the new A8X processor. It has 2 GB of RAM, has 8 megapixel camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera combined with all basic connectivity features. The device runs on iOS 8.1 operating system. The iPad Mini 3 is more affordable and convenient because of its size, as well as its pricing. The tablet’s Wifi variant starts at Rs. 28,900 for 16 GB version while its 128 GB version costs Rs. 42,900. The wifi and cellular variant costs Rs. 38,900 for 16 GB of space, Rs. 45,900 for 64 GB and so on. It’s specifications include a 7.9 inch 2K resolution screen with 64-bit dual core A7 processor and 1 GB of RAM.
