Applications are invited for:- Department of Japanese Studies Part-time Lecturer (Ref. 1314/034(685)/2) The Department looks for a Part-time Lecturer to teach an undergraduate course on ‘Field Research Methods’. Applicants should (i) have a higher degree (at least at Master level); (ii) be able to teach basic social science research methods including research design, face-to-face semi-structured interviews, questionnaire design, sampling methods, participant observation, research ethics, and proposal writing; and (iii) be able to use English as a medium of instruction. Appointment will be made on contract basis for one term commencing January 2014. Salary and Fringe Benefits Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
