Applications for special committees & special countries will open this Friday 21st November! Special committees: distinct from general committees, as the issues are generally more complex, and therefore require an application (rather than just registration). Delegates will be chosen on the strength of their application (e.g. level of experience). Special countries are listed here - vicmun.net/ Special countries: these are countries in general committees who are influential or relevant to the particular committee and/or topic. Applications will need to be made to be a special country; those on offer are... First general assembly: Ecuador, Israel, Pakistan, USA Sixth general assembly: India, Switzerland, Russia, USA Human rights council: Canada, Netherlands, Russia, Saudi Arabia International Monetary Fund (IMF): China, UK, USA Press Corps: Fox News, KCNA, Xinhua (Registration for other countries in these committees will open at a later date) Note: if you are not chosen for a ‘special committee’ or ‘special country’, you will still be guaranteed a spot in a general committee or allocated to a general country.
