Apply to foster at pmarinc.org A volunteer writes: Hi! Im Candy! Yeah, I know thats kind of a silly name for a boy, but when staff here at the Brooklyn Care Center met me, they thought I was so sweet, they couldnt resist. I arrived here as a stray with my friend, Cane. Yep, you got it now, Candy Cane. Pretty festive, huh? Well like I said, my name does fit me: volunteers here say I am so cute and affectionate and at only 26 pounds I could even use some sugar (well, good nutritious food anyway) to fill out my petite frame. When I am not busy being cute and sweet, I am often found playing. I love toys and running and sniffing and, well, all the other things youd expect of a normal dog! When I meet other dogs, I usually do a play bow right away! That lets them know I want to play, that I am friendly, and Im up for whatever games they might have in store. All the people here think I am one of the most delightful little dogs at the Care Center. So, please, come meet me. Its almost Christmas and everyone needs at least one Candy (Cane) for the holidays! 12/16/2013 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - EXPNOCHILD Exam Type BEHAVIOR Helper: 0986486 Candy was shy and nervous during handling, with stiff and fearful body language.
