Apprentice Hairdresser •An innovative salon is seeking a hairdressing apprentice to join their team based in Canterbury. •You will receive training from top hairdressers in an innovative, fast paced environment. The successful candidates will assist and learn from stylists how to provide exclusive, on-trend hairdressing services to a wide ranging clientele. •As this is a training position you will also spend time achieving a Technical Certificate and NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing. The salon offers a uniquely structured training programme and will invest in your continued professional development. •Alongside training for your hairdressing qualification your daily duties will include: greeting clients, shampooing for stylists, preparing and cleaning equipment, applying treatments, mixing colours, observing stylists and providing impeccable customer service at all times. •The ideal applicant does not require previous salon experience but should have a passion for the hair industry, a flair for creativity, be well presented and have the willingness to undertake a rigorous and comprehensive training programme. •GCSE Grade D or above (or equivalent) is required in Maths & English. •You must be reliable, hardworking, creative and have excellent customer service skills. •To be successful in the hair industry you need to work exceptionally hard, under pressure in a customer facing environment.
