Apprenticeship in Plumbing JOHANNESBURGWATER Johannesburg Water has an Apprenticeship opportunity in Plumbing with x20 Posts available. Johannesburg Water is launching an apprenticeship programme in the trade of plumbing which will involve candidates completing an apprenticeship programme as per the specified and regulated criteria of the applicable Seta and the National Artisan Moderating Body. This will involve practical training on-site as well as attendance at an FET college to obtain the theory component. At the end of the training programme, the apprentice will complete a formal trade test to qualify as an Artisan Plumber. During the apprenticeship, all apprentices will be supported by a mentor. Candidates for this apprenticeship should possess the following attributes: • Grade 12 passed with Mathematics and Physical Science • Not older than 25 years of age • South African citizen. Applicants will be required to undergo an assessment in order to qualify.
