April 1994. Double Edge Theatre moved from Boston to Ashfield, MA to a 100-acre dairy farm. This was the beginning of what we now know as the Farm and the beginning of a budding relationship with the people of Ashfield. 20 years later, both the town of Ashfield and Double Edge have experienced unprecedented growth and have strengthened their connections to culture and community. In this anniversary year, we will seek ways to reflect on the past, and dream about the future of our community and living culture. On July 6 our 20th anniversary celebration begins with a community gathering at Double Edge Theatre’s Farm Center. Take part in sharing oral histories and personal memories, and enjoy a meal prepared by the Double Edge company. Raffles, awards, family activities, and a behind-the-scenes performance tour included.
