April 25, 8:00 AM Ray Anthony is alert and awake. He has said a few words, but his throat is very sore. Today, they are going to check it and see if it is enflamed and what they can do to help it heal. Remember they inserted the breathing tube three times! He does not want to swallow, but does take his pills. They put a mitt on his hands so he does not pull any cords out. He is a bit slow, but getting better and wishes to have visitors. He laughs and smiles! They had him out of bed for a little bit this morning and he needs encouragement! Debbie also needs her lawn trimmed again. CMon Riders and Legionaires. Lets help our Family and Friend out! Visit him and lift his spirits!
