April 26, 1984: Exactly 30 years ago today, #Pakistan passed the Ordinance XX, making it illegal for its peaceful Ahmadi Muslims to greet with the salutation of peace, recite the Quran, use Islamic epithets like God willing, say the call for prayer, worship freely, profess faith, call their place of worship a Mosque or themselves Muslim. All these crimes are punishable by three years imprisonment and fine. If you think this is one of the most deplorable examples of religious persecution in the world today, share this with others to raise awareness and to press on Pakistan to repeal this discriminatory ordinance.
