April 28th will be Yom Ha Shoah in Israel. The day when we recall the slaughter of one third of the Jewish people by the Nazi savages. Sirens will sound all over the country for 2 minutes in the morning, and traffic will come to a halt, people will stand in silent prayer all over the land, stores will cease doing business and schoolchildren will stand at their desks and men and women at work, will stop and reflect. But we must also recall that our people, when they had arms in their hands, when they struck a blow against their oppressor, puts paid to the lie that our brothers and sisters went to their deaths without resisting whenever they could, wherever they could, using whatever means that they could muster.
