April 3, 2004, 10 years ago: Arsenals Treble dream comes to an end as Paul Scholes scores the only goal in a 1-0 win for Manchester United, in the FA Cup Semifinal, on neutral ground at Villa Park in Birmingham. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger blew it by not starting Thierry Henry. This came just days after the teams played a 1-1 draw at Highbury, enabling Arsenal to complete the first 30 games of the League season unbeaten, setting a new record, beating that of Leeds United in 1968-69. Of course, earlier in the season was The Battle of Old Trafford, with United Ruud van Nistelrooy and Diego Forlan diving all over the place, all for naught, as RVN blew a stoppage-time penalty that saved a 0-0 draw (and the unbeaten season) and led Martin Keown to get in his horse face.
