April Griffith Jones asked, I need opinions. I am currently using Horizons 4 math with my son. He has done very well with it. My issue is with the teachers guide. For me, it is just not detailed enough. I would love more instructions on how to present certain instructions/methods. I am now looking into Rod and Staff grade 5. Does anyone here use that, and if so what are your thoughts? I use Rod and Staff for English and love it. Very black-and-white, and straight to the point. So Im hoping their math is the same.
