April is the Month of the Military Child... to some the Military child seems like any normal, regular child... but to those of those that parent them, babysit them, teach them and walk with them through life.. know so different. We watch their parents deploy, sometimes both parents at the same time ... we change their schools every couple years, we watch them make friends then leave friends, leave everything to move to countries where English isn’t spoken, join schools in the middle of the school year and live far away from grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins .... these kids are one of a kind. I grew up as a military child... and am so thankful for the opportunities that my dad and mom afforded us .. but it wasn’t always easy. Always worth it tho...! Kudos to all the kids out there that join their parents/guardian on the crazy military life... ESPECIALLY to my Bryson! Hes not even 10 and weve spent months and years apart with deployments, TDYs and short tours. We always to pick up and continue on right where we left off ... distance and change has made us besties and even stronger. I love you Bry.. thanks for being my favorite Military child!
