For those who dont know whats going on with my hand (and I was asked in my last post), Ive had contractures of my fingers since before spring; my thumb is pulled into my palm and my fingers clamp down on it; I have zero grip, my thumb & fingers are now distorted, and all attempts at ROM feel like Im ripping my fingers apart one joint at a time. Well, not a new issue, though predictable: Ive developed a sore on my thumb, where my fingers are digging in. I told this new development to my orthos nurse, who then wanted me in tomorrow ASAP. Except I have to get pre-approval from Voc Rehab for ANYTHING done there first! So its off to my regular doctor (who DOES take state aid); hopefully shell coordinate with my ortho...
